Preliminary Science Results from NASA's 60 TFLOP Columbia System |

Abstract The NASA Columbia System located at the NASA’s Ames Research Center, is the world’s fastest production supercomputer. The system currently sits at number 2 in the LINPACK Top 500 list. The system has been in production since September, 2004. The presentation provides a short overview of the Columbia system architecture, followed by a description of a number of scientific results produced to date on several of NASA mission critical codes.
