The Computational Engineering and Science Conference series is designed to bring together a broad spectrum of technical experts and decision makers to discuss critical technical and policy issues in high end computing. High end computing is now recognized as a strategic tool in science and technology. The CESC will focus on current technical and policy issues critical to maintaining national leadership in HEC. For 2007 the application focus will be Nuclear Energy and Reactor Simulations. CESC2007 has been preceded by three conferences: one in February 2002 called the Mission Computing Conference, one in June 2003 called the DOE Science Computing Conference, and CESC2005 which focused on combustion as the application area. The 2007 Computational Science and Engineering Conference (CESC2007) is supported by the Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research within the Department of Energy Office of Science.
